School Year Programs

Garden Grove is a school first, and childcare second. In light of this, our school runs on a regular school day schedule to prepare children (and their families!) for big kid school; each full-day classroom’s day includes a daily nap/rest time according to age group.  Highly trained and experienced teachers assist your child to explore and discover the world around them, learn academic skills through play and projects, practice their social skills with their classmates, and help them develop a positive, confident sense of self and love of learning. We welcome children age 3 mos-6 years during the school year (children up to age 8 during the summer months for summer camp).

Our school day runs 8:30AM to 3:00 PM (drop off begins at 7am, and pickup is from 3:00-3:30; aftercare until 5:30pm is available). There are a variety of enrollment options, full and part time, full and half day.  Please call or schedule a tour for more information about current schedule offerings, openings, and pricing!

    A note about year to grow:

    This program is designed for children who are not yet ready for kindergarten but are ready to take the next steps in their learning journey. It provides a supportive, nurturing environment where children can build foundational skills through hands-on activities, socialization, and creative play.

    Integrated with our PreK class, our Year to Grow program offers a seamless transition, allowing children to grow at their own pace while benefiting from a structured, engaging curriculum that prepares them for success in kindergarten and beyond. We use the Creative Curriculum at Garden Grove supplemented by the Handwriting Without Tears program which allows our teaching staff to pull children for small group instruction to meet them where they are in their learning journey, accommodate each child's unique needs, and keep them challenged and engaged at their level. This individualized attention ensures that every child receives the support and guidance they need to grow and succeed at their own pace and be ready for their next learning step.

Extended School Day (Before & After Care)

For students enrolled at Garden Grove for preschool:

Garden Grove operates on a conventional school schedule, M-F 7-3:30. Care from 7-8:30 is included in Garden Grove tuition.   If your child needs care beyond our regular school day, our extended day program is available  from 3:30-5:30.  Please contact the office for more information about rates and availability.

NEW April, 2025: For children age 3-3rd grade NOT enrolled at Garden Grove for preschool:

Before care (7 am-bus pickup) and after care (bus drop off-5:30) are available to children not enrolled at Garden Grove for preschool M-F. Families are free to sign up for one or both. Sparta School district families need only change their child’s bus stop to Garden Grove! Care on days when GG is open for a full day, and the Sparta district is closed, or on a delayed opening/early dismissal schedule is also available! Call or email us for pricing and more information!
